International Day

Last Friday, the AISA Community celebrated International Day. We had 15 countries represented at International Day. Elementary School Students performed songs from different countries and did a colorful flag parade and the parents and other volunteers gave presentations about their home country. Thanks to the Students, Staff, PTA, Parents, and Volunteers for a wonderful International Day celebration this Year.

AISA Band World Premiere Concert With Peter McKenzie

This past Thursday, the AISA Community was treated to a splendid display of Music and Arts as the AISA Band played along side US Composer Peter McKenzie while Ms. Karen Gager did live drawings and exhibited student Art works. Thanks to the Mr. Panting, Ms. Gager, the Middle and High School Band, the US Embassy, Prixair, and everyone else who made Thursday night a success.

Elementary School Field Day

Elementary Field Day is focused on fun, cooperation, sportsmanship, and effort. This year, the students were able to demonstrate these goals with a variety of enjoyable activities and games. At the end of the day, when asked, most students said "I wish we could have Field Day every day"!

AISA Run/Walk Assembly

The AISA Run/Walk assembly on March 28th, 2018 finalised the donation amounts, distribution, and use of this year's AISA Run/Walk funds raised. This year, we raised an astonishing 4,157,340 Naira! Of that, 2,912,340 Naira was distributed to the AFCA group (http://www.afcaids.org/), 830,000 Naira used towards supplies to IDP camp, and 415,000 Naira used towards Kado school. The money raised for the AFCA will be used towards building hospitals and clinics around Uganda in areas stricken by AIDS. The IDP camp funds were used to purchase much needed medicine for the camp hospital. The Kado school committee used the funds to rebuild, paint, and furnish three pre-school classrooms along with
