AISA MUN at GQMUN, Doha, Qatar

Recently twelve of our Crocs attended Georgetown University’s Model United Nations (GQMUN) Conference in Doha, Qatar. During their four days at the conference, they became MUN delegates from all corners of the globe. Delegates participated in discussions with peers from over fifty schools within Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Our delegates debated, collaborated, and drafted resolutions on a variety of topics, some of which included: Myanmar’s Rohingya Crisis Xenophobia and persecution of Muslim minorities around the world Politicization of religious sites around the world Privatization of war Political stability in a post-Arab Spring Civil War in South Sudan Combating corruption in deve

Classes Resume on Monday

With the postponement of the national elections, AISA will reopen its doors for regular classes on Monday, February 18, 2019. Those students who cannot attend on-campus classes with their teachers on Monday may still continue with online learning. Online learning will cease Tuesday, February 19, 2019. In addition, there will be no food services on campus Monday as the cafeteria will be closed, so please make sure your child brings his/her recess snacks and lunch with them to school.
