Elementary School

The AISA elementary school serves approximately 200 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We believe that children need to be actively involved in learning by engaging in activities that help to further their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.
We offer a strong academic program rooted within a warm, nurturing learning environment.

American Curriculum

The elementary school follows the Common Core State Standards in reading, writing, and math. We use the AERO standards for Social Studies and NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) for Science.

Our students are offered a variety of school-sponsored after-school activities and clubs including academic, athletic, crafts, social game-based activities, which occur after the normal school day.

Dedicated Staff

With a wealth of experience and a diverse set out backgrounds, our classroom teachers are composed of dedicated professionals. Each member is committed to providing curriculum, instruction, and assessment that is founded in research-based best practices in education. Together, our teachers work to ensure continuity and innovation.

Our school offers teaching assistant support in every classroom and we prioritize student health and wellness with a dedicated elementary school counselor.

Embracing Diversity

Students come from all over the world and contribute to a culturally and intellectually rich environment. We encourage inclusiveness. Individual student needs are assessed through differentiation in the classroom, and additional support is provided through our English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Learning Support Services programs.

Through developing our students’ skills, knowledge, and character, we enable them to achieve their full potential.
