School Supply List

Pre-School

• Medium sized backpack
• Water Bottles
• Wet wipes
• Extra clothing
• Comfortable shoes (preferably with velcro)
• Small sized blanket for rest time
• A little Pillow (Optional)

Pre-Kindergarten

• Backpack (with no wheels)
• Water Bottle (labeled with name)
• Change of clothes- including underwear and socks
• Healthy snack each day
• Packed lunch or lunch credits purchased
• Small blanket OR pillow for rest time

Kindergarten

• Water Bottles (2 suggested...little ones lose things easily) - Plug in Headphones
• Full Size Backpack (not rolling-they do not fit in our cubbies) or get a good size that can fit.
• A hat (or two) for the sun!
• Change of clothes in case of emergency

 

Grade 1

• Backpack with no wheels
• Water bottle (labeled with name)
• Headphones that can be left at school
• Lunch box with healthy snack and lunch

Grade 2

• Backpack-soft-without wheels or hard parts (not too big)
• Reusable water bottle (labeled with name)
• Headphones (labeled with name) that can be left at school
• Shoes appropriate for P.E.
• Lunch box

Grade 3 & 4

• Backpack
• Water bottle labeled with name
• Headphones labeled with name

Grade 5

• 2 sets of headphones/earbuds (for Chromebook) One pair with a microphone on the wire or with a built-in microphone is preferred.
• Personal hand sanitizer in backpack
• Reusable water bottle (labeled with name on it)
• Highlighters
• Post-It Notes (3x3 in)

 

Backpack

Backpack style school bag which will fit into a 15inch wide locker - School Bags are kept in lockers throughout the day.

Laptop

The school will provide each student with a 14 inch chromebook (G6-8 ) or a 13 inch MacBook (G9-12) however, you are welcome to bring your own device instead. Just let IT (tech@aisabuja.com) know.

Laptop carry bag

• Laptop carry bags are taken into classrooms. The laptop bag should have:
• 2 separate pockets (minimum) that can carry
  • a 14 inch chromebook or a 13 inch MacBook as well as
  • a notebook and pencil case.
• US to Nigeria (UK) Power Adapter (for the laptop charger)

General Classroom Equipment

• Pencil Case with: graphite pencils, Blue pens, black pens, red pens, green pens, eraser, pencil sharpener.
• Ruler - 6 inch (15cm) which fits into a pencil case or 12 inch (30cm)
• Assorted coloured highlighter pens
• Post-it notes
• Headphones
• Water Bottle
• Optional: Colour pencils/pens

Calculator for Mathematics and Science:

• Grade 6 & 7: Scientific Calculator (Any brand)
• Grade 8-12: Graphing Display Calculator (TI 84 Plus CE)

Health & Physical Education Clothing

• Closed running shoes
• Appropriate athletic attire (separate from school clothes)
• Water bottle,
• Hat/cap
