What a great semester we have had in the Secondary Music Department. We played our December Concert on December 5th in the MPH. It was a great opportunity to show off our talents and our hard work. The students performed well and the audience loved the music. As this is my first year here at AISA, I loved the excitement of the audience and their support of the musicians. One thing I would love to see at future events, is a little bit more concert etiquette. I know the MPH is not the best concert space, but we do our best. The students have put in hours of rehearsal and practice time and it is in respect to them that we as an audience should show proper etiquette (at times the talking got a bit loud). Again, we love the excitement and the support, just not while we are performing. We are all pleased with our first concert together and are very much looking forward to next semester and learning and growing together as musicians. Thank you again to all those who came to support us and we look forward to seeing you again next semester!
